RECORDING

From the start to the finish of your project, we are here to assist. Whether you want to record a demo, a top quality album or a few songs for friends, we will guide you through the complete process. Over the years we have recorded some amazing projects, even right through to the privilege of producing and recording the 2008 New Zealand Country Music "Album of the Year" for Dunedin's Melissa Partridge.

BACKING TRACKS

On occasions an artist requires pre-recorded tracks for them to use while entertaining. On some occasions these may be just a single guitar, on others, a full backing track may be required. We can record and produce completely what you require.

TEACHING

Gordon has gained an excellent reputation in the area of teaching. Many of New Zealand Gold Guitar Award (a large New Zealand Country Music Talent Quest) winners have been tutored and guided by Gordon. We specialise in vocal coaching however we also teach Guitar, Midi, Sound craft and most facets of music production.

ENGINEERING

We are able to provide the complete package including the engineer. On the very odd occasion you may wish to provide your own engineer. Though this has never been required we are quite happy to allow this.

PRODUCTION

Once again we have always provided this service but consult fully with our client; resulting in an excellent final result.

POST PRODUCTION

An important part of the process which is very often missed out is the mastering of a CD. We have software and the ability to provide this service however on some occasions this too can be arranged outside the business.

ARTWORK & DESIGN

Photography, design, and printing can be all fully arranged through our studio, many of the processes carried out by our staff. Artwork we can provide includes design and printing of covers, inlays, brochures and CD printing.

CD PRODUCTION

Small runs of CD's can be produced completely by the studio. Commercial quantities are arranged and duplicated by out-sourcing the job through a competitive company specialising in this service.

CHART WRITING

This part of our business is growing dramatically and our services can be used to have your songs professionally charted. We have over 1800 music charts that can be ordered from our website. This number is growing day by day and these will be made available for purchase.

MUSICIANS

You can provide your own musicians but in general we arrange musicians for your project. These are obviously chosen in line with the budget of your project. Always remember though the better the musician the better the end result.

INSTRUMENTS

We own a number of musical instruments you may use if required.

ACCOMODATION

If required we are able to arrange accommodation for you while you are recording.
